Hello! My name is Samantha (Sam) and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and have been practicing in outpatient programs for over 5 years. I received a master’s degree in Social Work and a master’s degree in Public Administration through ASU. I am trained in several evidence based therapies including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
I have been fortunate to work with a variety of populations including the SMI (severely mentally ill) population, the homeless population, and other specific populations to address depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and personality disorders.
This means skills from a variety of evidence based therapies including problem solving therapy and solution focused therapy can be used in an eclectic manner based on your needs.
I am committed to providing a safe and non-judgmental space for you to explore your values and personal growth.
I believe counseling that is valued-based goes beyond symptom management and focuses on personal growth and transformation - Creating a deeper understanding of yourself, making choices in alignment with your values, and building a more fulfilling and purpose-driven life.

I believe counseling that is valued-based goes beyond symptom management and focuses on personal growth and transformation - Creating a deeper understanding of yourself, making choices in alignment with your values, and building a more fulfilling and purpose-driven life.
I always say that if you look at how mental health symptoms are affecting your life, you'll see how your behaviors are no longer in accordance with your values.
My goal as a therapist is to understand your specific challenges, goals, and values to address your individual needs.
This is a collaborative process between the therapist and the client. We will be working together to identify and align your values to overcome obstacles and achieve sustainable change.
The goal of therapy is to find relief from mental health symptoms such as depression, anxiety, trauma, or stress. Learn how to better manage emotions, develop healthier thought patterns, and experience a sense of inner peace and improved overall mental well-being.
This journey can increase self-awareness, enhance coping skills and problem solving techniques, improve relationships, and provide you with emotional support and validation.
Live Your Values Counseling involves strictly telehealth therapy services that allows you to connect with your licensed therapists from the comfort of your own home. The telehealth therapy sessions are secure, private, and convenient through Simple Practice.
